Player Biographies

Over 70s players who have represented or are on their way to represent Australia in international and local tournaments.

From the initial core of 7 players chosen to make up the very first AWFS representative side the selection pool has grown considerably due primarily to the large number of tournaments being offered and the fact that some tournaments overlap. In addition, with no sponsorship to defray costs, players don’t necessarily have the budget, time, health and/or the fitness to compete in evey tournament.
